Therese Lehmann

Therese Lehmann works as an Inside Sales representative at Rotera, part ofNomo, which offers corporate clients a broad product range and stocks more than 20,000 items from more than 80 different manufacturers worldwide.

Håkan Pettersson, our previous guest in this series, asks: What is your goal for the future?
I started out working as a cook straight from high school. It was a good first job and I got to see what working and handling stress involves. After four years I was tired of working late evenings and not being able to socialise with my friends. I knew that Nomo was looking for someone to work in their warehouse in Täby. I worked there for nine months. Then the opportunity came up to work in Inside Sales at Rotera, which I started in December 2022.

What drives you?
To keep developing. I seek out new challenges, I’m also quite stubborn and want to prove things can be done.

What is your role at Rotera?
I work with our sales team and offer support helping Nomo’s clients. I register orders, receive various email and phone queries each day and also have customer contact in our shop.

What is the best thing about your job?
My colleagues are top of the list, but I also like the variety in my work. One moment I can be helping someone with linear bearings and the next moment it’s a seal or a chain.

How has the experience of joining the Nomo team been?
It has felt completely natural and welcoming to join. I am also in close contact with the other offices. Nomo is a lot like a family even though the company is so large now.

Do you have any hidden talents?
I am into music; I play the guitar and sing. I have a small home studio where I make my own music, my favourites are indie pop and singer-songwriter.

What kind of culinary interest do you have?
It’s fun to go to restaurants and I also like to cook food and entertain friends.
