Raikko Fridfelt is Inside Sales Manager at Nomo in Finland.

Daniel Moghaddam, our previous guest in this series, asks: What steps do you think Nomo Group needs to take to make progress in e-commerce?
It has to be easy to use our online store and technical data has to be easily accessible.

What has your journey through the company been like over the years?
My journey started with a summer job at Porin Laakeri Oy in Pori. After military service, I got a permanent job in the warehouse and in the following years moved on to work in sales. At the start it was small scale, but later on larger customers came along. I started my current role as Inside Sales Manager some years after Nomo acquired Porin Laakeri (2008). A lot has changed since I started work in a small town with a bearing company 33 years ago. Sometimes I’ve had to pinch myself when I look at all the developments up to today.

What is the best thing about your job?
I really enjoy trying to solve customer’s problems and working hard to find the right bearing and solution for a customer.

What has given you the most professional development?
I think I have developed and learnt the most in recent years. There have been a lot of new things which I’ve had to learn.

What is the company’s best product?
All our products are the best in the industry!

What do you do in your spare time?
I enjoy spending time at our summer house and our three dachshunds keep me occupied.

What do you like listening to?
I like to listen to all types of music, recently it has been more hard rock and metal.

Do you have any hidden talents?
I like to think I’m a good cook.

What sort of food do you enjoy?
My figure says it all: I like good food!
