Bård Fleischer, our previous guest in this series, asks: What opportunities for improvement do you see in your own work, what could you do better?
I could develop my skills in using Microsoft Office applications and utilise them even better in my daily work.

What has your journey at Nomo been like over the years?
In June 2023, I will have been with the company for 37 years. There have been a lot of changes over the years. I started in Porin Laakeri, at that time there were only four other employees. After three mergers in Finland, there are now 54 employees. Technology has evolved a lot since I started in 1986. We used typewriters, sent faxes and all invoicing was done manually. Communication and the world in general were slower then.

What is the best thing about your job?
Pleasant colleagues and enjoyable work.

What has given you the most professional development?
The growth of the business world in general has brought many new challenges that have also developed my own skills.

What are your personal strengths?
I am thorough and reliable.

Do you have any hidden talents?
I have an extremely good memory.

How exciting, have you participated in any competitions where you have benefited from your good memory?
I haven’t participated in any competitions, but I have benefited from it many times in everyday life.

What do you do in your spare time?
In winter I like skiing, especially downhill skiing. I like travelling. During the summer we spend a lot of time in our summer house and we do a lot of sailing.

What sort of food do you enjoy?
I like good food, especially good steaks.

What is your biggest success in life?
I am very happy with my life.

What is the most challenging part of your job right now?
